- - Pioneer Family Pools attempted Aqua Link 3.0 and said it wouldn't work due to Wi-Fi; Zodiac Support turned it on remotely in minutes.
The service people from my Pool company (Pioneer Family Pools) made a token effort to install the aqua Link 3.0 and the service person said it would not work due to wifi network issues. I called the Zodiac Support people and they were able to get the system working in a few minutes. They basically turned the system on remotely while I was on the phone with them.

Hard to make claims for pool parts
- - Four warranted pool parts have been replaced.
- - Calling for a fourth part takes hours; my info should be stored to avoid repeats.
I have had to have four warranted pool parts replaced since I have had my pool built . I just had to call in for a fourth one .
Not sure why it takes hours and an act of congress to do the same thing that I have done before .
Shouldnt my Info be stored somewhere as to not go through this every time I call ? Super frustrating!

I have an MX8 Elite that runs very slow. I...
- - MX8 Elite slow: 60s/10 rotations; engine/gear boxes replaced; suction port/regulator adequate; vacuum after swivel top lower.
I have an MX8 Elite that runs very slow. I changed the engine and both gear boxes but still slow.
I measure 60 seconds for 10 rotations. I have a spring type suction gauge that shows more than adequate suction at the suction port of the pool. I then measured the suction at both input and output of the regulator attached to the MX8 and the suction was still very good. When I opened the vacuum and measured the suction at the inside of the vacuum, right after the swivel top, it was significantly lower.
Does this mean I need to replace the top assembly? Thanks Shokefl@***.com

Verified ReviewerDefensive Filter cartridge
- - Installed Oct; job took a month; invoice pending.
- - Cartridges defective and clogged within a month; filters cracked under pressure.
I had a new filter system installed last October, took like a month to get the job completed, the filter works great. I believe the cartridges that came with it were faulty or defective, they clog after less than a month of winter pool time, so it's not even really being used other than the hot tub.
I have always cleaned before getting too dirty, mark the filters have cracked ripped and have not held up to the pressure that a filter this size puts out in my opinion. Furthermore, I contacted Aqua Pro pools and have been waiting on a copy of the invoice. I ordered cheap filters off of Amazon back in April and have been using them for the past 3 months or so and they work great.
These filters that zodiac makes are normally wonderful, my previous ones were great quality, I have a completely different filter with different size cartridges now Unfortunately. I would just like zodiac to be a stand-up company and stand by their product, these filters didn't even last 6 months

Bad customer service
- - Received a $100 Zodiak gift card from a 2021 spring sale, valid 90 days.
- - Funds returned to Zodiak after unused card; customer service refused credit.
I received a $100 gift card after purchasing a new Zodiak pool cleaner back in 2021 as part of there spring sale promotion. I asked about the gift card when I purchased the Zodiak and was told I could use it for whatever I wanted.
I just wanted it so the next time I bought a Zodiak pool cleaner or equipment I would have it when I needed it. so I put it away for future use. Well my cleaner hoses were starting to deteriorate and break, and the new hoses are $33 per section. I needed 13 sections and after doing the math I figured that was stupid since I can get a brand new cleaner with hoses in the box for $579 with another $100 rebate card.
well I went down to purchase a new cleaner yesterday and the pool company wouldn't expect the card because it was only good for 90 days. I then proceeded to call the VISA card number on the back and they told me that if I didnt spend the money on the card the money goes back to Zodiak, The nice lady gave me the date that money was sent back to Zodiak which was FEb of 2022 and the number for Zodiak cutomer service. I called Zodiak (after about a 10 min hold) a young lady picked up and tiold me sorry about my bad luck (pretty much) she then started to tell me even though they receive the money back they will not issue me a credit or a new card even though I just wanted it to purchase a brand-new cleaner from the same manufacture. I then told her I was a business owner myself, and how do you expect to keep customers coming back with such poor business practices.
This totally blew my mind that they didn't care one bit if I bought more of their equipment or not. I really dont see how if would effect there bottom line when they gave me the card then took it back. that is pretty much the moral of the story. If I lost the card or something I get it because someone could have picked it up and tried to get it reimbursed to them, but they did verify the info on the card with my name and home address but still proceeded to tell me sorry nothing we could do.
So needless to say I will not purchase anymore stuff from them or there other companies they own. All over a measly $100 gift card that they promoted to receive more sales knowing that most people probably won't spend it in 90 days so they just keep the money like selfish jerks.
